Pirater Android is a newly released malicious application that installs itself on your phone and pretends to be a file sharing program. It then pretends to connect to a file via an Internet connection (that you think is secure), and shows you different options, such as uploading a movie to your phone, while it actually downloads and install additional files, among other things. This application has two components: a spyware application and a fake piece of « romance » music that it pretends to play. As soon as you install this on your phone, however, it also installs a lot of different types of malware onto your phone. This includes things like fake SMS and Call records, as well as the likes of DLL files, and even the spyware program.
There are a number of ways to remove Pirater Android. The first thing you can do to get rid of the virus is to use a « malware removal tool », which is a software program designed to scan through your computer and fix any of the damaged or infected files that are in there. These programs work by scanning through every single part of Windows – from the registry, to the actual OS, to the web browser and so forth. They then determine whether that file needs to be deleted / uninstalled, or just fixed so that your phone will not load it anymore. After they’ve fixed it, you should then remove / move / delete the infected file that the virus placed onto your computer. Please note that this virus requires a lot of creativity and technical knowledge, as it’s very likely that you won’t know where to get rid of it, and consequently will just keep putting it back online.
The second way to get rid of Pirater Android is to download a legitimate « anti-malware » program and use it to scan through your computer. Anti-malware programs have been created by professional companies in order to stop the likes of this virus from infecting your PC. We highly recommend using one of these programs, because they are both extremely effective and reliable at getting rid of the infection. After you’ve used one of these tools, you should then uninstall the anti-malware program and then re-install it onto your PC. This will completely clean out your system, allowing your computer to run smoothly again.
